State Health Society (SHS), Government of Bihar, has issued Advertisement No. 07/2025 for the recruitment of 220 Ophthalmic Assistants on a contractual basis. These posts will be filled across different reservation categories as per Bihar government norms. Candidates with 10+2 in Biology/Mathematics and a 2-year Diploma in Optometry or Ophthalmic Assistant training are eligible. 2-year Diploma in Optometry, OR
2-year training as Ophthalmic Assistant, OR
2-year Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant.
Salary
The post carries a consolidated monthly salary of ₹15,000.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 01/08/2025) Relaxations in upper age limit will be applicable as per Bihar government rules.
