BSSC Recruitment 2025 For 125 Auditors

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released Advertisement No. 05/2025 for recruitment of 125 Auditor posts through the 4th Graduate Level Examination. Out of these, 44 posts are reserved for women candidates. This position is open for graduates in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics. Eligible candidates can apply online from 18th August 2025 to 19th September 2025 via the BSSC portal.

BSSC Auditor Vacancy Details

Education

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following subjects:

• Commerce
• Economics
• Statistics
• Mathematics

Salary

• Pay Level 5: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 per month
• Includes allowances as per Bihar Government rules

Age Limit

As on 01/08/2025:

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 37 years (UR Male)
• Relaxations: OBC/EBC & Women (40 years), SC/ST (42 years), PwD (+10 years)

Application Fee

• UR/BC/EBC & Outside Bihar (Male/Female): ₹540
• SC/ST (Bihar Residents), Women (Bihar Residents), Disabled: ₹135
  Fee payment must be done online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Debit Card.

Selection Process

• Preliminary Exam: 150 questions, 600 marks, objective type, negative marking (-1 per wrong answer)
• Mains Exam:
  • Paper 1: Hindi (400 marks; 30% qualifying)
  • Paper 2: General Studies, General Science & Maths, Reasoning (600 marks)
