Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Barauni Refinery has announced 224 Apprentice vacancies across various trades and disciplines under the Apprentices Act. The recruitment offers opportunities for candidates with qualifications ranging from Class XII, ITI, Diploma, B.Sc, to B.Com to gain industrial training experience in one of India’s leading public sector undertakings. The selection will be purely merit-based, prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in the prescribed qualification, followed by document verification and medical fitness. There will be no written examination for this recruitment.

  1. Visit the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for Trades 101, 102, 103, 109, 110, 111.
  2. For Technician Apprentice (Trade 107), register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at nats.education.gov.in.
  3. Complete your registration with correct personal and educational details.
  4. Search for IOCL Barauni Refinery Apprenticeship opportunity using the relevant trade code.
  5. Apply online against the specific trade on the portal.
  6. After portal registration, fill the additional Google Form available on IOCL official website iocl.com.
  7. Submit the application before 23 February 2026.
  8. Wait for the merit list announcement and document verification schedule (Tentative DV from 09 to 12 March 2026).
